Beliefs

We joyfully affirm the historic New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1833) and the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) as faithful summaries of biblical truth.

We believe:

  • The Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, sufficient for all faith and practice.

  • The one true God exists eternally in 3 persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

  • The Church is Christ’s body, called to make disciples of all nations through the Gospel.

  • Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are Christ’s ordinances, given to His people for obedience and fellowship.

  • Jesus Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to bring His kingdom in fullness.

For a fuller expression of our beliefs, see the New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1833) and the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) below.

What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the best news ever: that Jesus Christ, God's Son, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to offer us forgiveness and new life. This grace is a gift - unearned and freely given - that reconciles us to God and invites us into a relationship with Him. It's not about what we do, but about what Jesus has done for us.
